Intro to Bouldering
ages 13+
This free 60-minute class introduces you to basic climbing technique and bouldering safety. This class is included in the cost of your membership, punch pass, or day pass. After class, you can purchase a 2-week membership for $30 (same day only, only available for a one-time purchase).
Tuesdays + Thursdays: 7-8P
Saturdays: 5-6P

Beyond the Basics
ages 13+
Stuck in a rut? Chances are you’re already strong enough, you just need the tools to enhance your technique and skill. This class is designed for novice climbers ready to take it to the next level. Recommended for those projecting 4&5’s.
3-week sessions are offered on a quarterly basis.
Dates · Mondays from 6:30-8:30P on 7/29, 8/5, and 8/12.
Women’s Bouldering Class
ages 13+
Similar to our Beyond the Basics class but more specifically geared towards women. Take your climbing to the next level in this women-led, three-week course. Students will learn technical skills, such as sequencing and footwork as well as female-focused physical training to further advance their climbing performance. Recommended for those projecting 4&5’s.
The ultimate goal of this class is to foster a safe and inclusive space for the female climbing community to empower one another within the context of The Circuit.
Dates: Mondays from 6:30-8:30P on 8/19, 8/26, and 9/9.
Kilter Board Basics
ages 16+
Wondering about that giant board at our Tigard Gym? What's it for, how to use it, how to build its use into your training?
This class is just what you are looking for. Over two sessions with head coach and veteran setter Nick, learn the basics of use of our Kilter Board. The light-up app-controlled Kilter Board connects you to a worldwide database of boulder problems.
Over this course, Nick will instruct 6 climbers on the purpose of the board as well as its functionality, how to warm up on the board, how to structure a workout using the board as well as some general ettiquette to help you shake up and elevate your training!

Barbell Basics for Women
ages 16+
If you've ever felt intimidated by using a barbell, this class is for you! Britt will help you learn the three primary barbell lifts: Back Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift. Each session will focus on an individual lift and include instruction on how to set-up your space safely and efficiently, how to execute the lift, and how to decide what weights are best for you.
This class is great for beginners and can also benefit anyone who needs a refresher on set-up and form.Get strong, build confidence and support other women! All female-identifying folks welcome.
Britt has been instructing movement in Portland since 2015. She is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and has years of personal lifting experience. Britt has been part of the Circuit Community since 2015.

Sequential breath-focused movement, interlinking postures to form a continuous flow. If you have a solid yoga base or feel comfortable in our Yoga Foundations class, challenge yourself in this class.Hatha · W: 7-8P
Similar to a vinyasa-style class, Hatha yoga moves with the breath, with a special focus on building strength and slightly longer holds. These classes are curated to work on strength and mobility for all levels.Yin · Th: 7-8P
Yin is the practice of holding stretches in simple postures for several minutes at a time. This practice stretches the fascia, or connective tissue, found all throughout the body. Work on breathing, range of motion, balance, and deeper body awareness to help your climbing.
