FAQ
IS BOULDERING A SPORT FOR KIDS?
Yes. You will probably be surprised by how comfortable your child already is with climbing. This gym has a kids area (designed with shorter climbers in mind). Encourage your child to explore our terrain at their own pace.
In order to ensure your child’s safety and the safety of others, we require that all children 12 and under be actively supervised by a responsible adult.
WHO CAN SIGN A WAIVER FOR A MINOR?
We will only accept waivers signed by a child’s parent or court-appointed legal guardian. We are unable to accept waivers signed by siblings, relatives, or friends. Our waiver form is available online and you can fill it out at any of our locations or anytime online before your visit.
Minors visiting without their parent or court-appointed guardian must bring a copy of the government-issued photo ID of the parent or court-appointed that signed the waiver.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
There is no minimum age limit for climbing, but we recommend starting at age 4.
ARE THERE SPECIFIC HOURS FOR CHILDREN?
Kids are welcome any time we are open, however on weekends and school break days (holidays, teacher planning days, etc) reservations are required between the hours of 9am-4pm. Please keep in mind that children must be closely supervised by an adult (18+) at all times while in the gym.
CAN I DROP MY CHILD OFF?
No. All children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times while they are in the climbing space. If you are unable to supervise your child while they climb, consider setting up a private session or enrolling your child in one of our youth programs. The Circuit requires all groups to maintain a 1:4 supervisor-to-child ratio if the children are 12 years or younger. For groups with children 3 years or younger, we ask a ratio of 1:2, adult-to-child. Groups with inadequate chaperones/supervisors will be asked to leave. Children 12 years and younger must be supervised by someone who is 18+. Please refrain from using your phone or other distracting materials while supervising.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Kids should wear comfortable clothes that they can freely move in. Please supply them with socks and shoes that will stay on their feet. We also have climbing shoes available to rent in children’s sizes.
